Dry Floatation vs Floatation Therapy

Dry floatation is different from the more well know floatation therapy, which involves tanks or room filled with warm water densely saturated with Epsom salts.  Many floatation centres focus on the nourishment and detoxification elements of the floatation therapy.  Dry floatation is more about the deep relaxation, weightlessness and recovery.  Dry floatation generally offers quicker and deeper relaxation as the brain understands it is supported and is not heightened to the risk of submersion.
